Creating a text component

You create a text component when you want to reuse a section of text in multiple places in your website.

About this task

To create a text component, go to Applications > Content > web Content Management and then click New > Component > Text.
  1. Text component identification
    Specify identification information for the component, including the name, title and description of the component.
  2. Specify a location for the text component
    When creating a component you can specify the location of the component.
  3. Entering text in the component
    You use the text element to store some text in the component.
  4. Text component properties
    Specify properties for the component, including the list of authors and owners associated with the component.
  5. Gratning text component access
    Specify the access control settings for the component to determine which users have access to the component and their level of access.
